Position: Project Coordinator

Location: Tampa FL

Description: Oceanetics is a defense contractor company engaged in a ship repair project in Tampa, FL. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to assist the vessel repair team with the vessel in the dry dock.

This assignment will run from approximately August 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024, and possibly through April 2025
The Project Coordinator provides administrative support to the project team and ensures smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
• Maintain the Change Management System (CFRs received, RFPs sent and COs received).
• Create work item numbers and log them in system. Keep related documentation in system referring to subject work items.
• Assists Port Engineer with RFQs, quotes received and PO issuance to vendors.
• Handle base access & security related activities.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
